Hi,

We’re Dylan and Delmar, two brothers and the inventors of the Delmar Tennis Company.

Born in Mississippi, raised in Africa, and now settled in Los Angeles, we’ve both played tennis since we were 5. From clay courts in Burundi to the Paint Branch Hard Courts, we’ve seen it all. Delmar coaches in Los Angeles currently (shoutout Plummer Park).

As lifelong tennis fans, who witnessed the glory days of the Big 3 (Team Federer 4L) growing up, we were drawn the unique sense of style and personality that tennis players were allowed to bring on court. Rafa brought fire. Headbands, sleeveless shirts, and ¾ shorts. Federer, class. Tailored polos and monogramed duffel bags. And Novak introduced us to UNIQLO’s Japanese utilitarianism.

Tennis gave us a sense of community no matter where we were in the world. It brought joy, friendship, competition and a few too many heatstrokes.

The current landscape of tennis is super exciting. Movies like Challengers (shit form btw) and King Richard helped put tennis back in the cultural zeitgeist and introduce the sport to a new set of eyes. The Sinner/Alcaraz rivalry has seemed to (finally) usher in a new golden age in professional tennis.

We wanted to create an apparel company that channeled some of that excitement and growth. If you’re looking for ultra minimal tech-wear, you’ve come to the wrong place. We’re all about big graphics, bright colors, and channeling the spirit of the city we call home.

Our shirts are soft, light, and wearable. Perfect the tennis court or a night out on the town. Right now, it’s just graphic tees but we have a lot of cool stuff in store, so keep and eye out.
